RC Showroom Schottentor

Objects; ripped suits, kicked chairs, baseball bats

The RC Showroom at Schottentor is situated above the heads of passengers on their way to work; on their way down to catch the subway on time, a meeting room is visualized above them. The structure of the installation and the people who have to pass under it already creates the feeling of a head office sitting above us all. The visualized confrontation is meant to convey the discomfort and comment on the low human emotions that result from pressure in a capitalist society. The scene conveys the symptom of the "elbow mentality." A wild round of meetings with torn suits, overturned chairs and two baseball bats is meant to symbolize an ongoing state of struggle and bitterness towards fellow human beings.

Meeting chairs, ended up in a big fight.
